![]() EMBED FONTS INTO POWERPOINT HOW TOWhile you’re poking around in PowerPoint, you may be interested to learn how to embed a YouTube video in your presentation or customize its ribbon for greater productivity. You’ll have to manually go into options and enable it for each presentation where you want your PowerPoint fonts embedded. Therefore, you can't embed a font directly into an Excel file like you can with Word or PowerPoint, but there is workaround: Embed a font in a Word document, as described above, then copy data from an Excel workbook into the Word document, and finally apply the embedded font to the data you copied in from Excel. Do bear in mind, however, that this won’t automatically apply to all of your presentations. Excel doesn't have the Embed Fonts feature. That’s really all you need to do to embed fonts in PowerPoint. Tick “Embed fonts in the file”, choose between one of the two options, then press “OK” to save your preferences. Otherwise, you should embed all of the characters of the font so they don’t run into issues if they try to type a letter or symbol you haven’t used yet. You should embed only the characters if the receiver isn’t planning to make any changes to the file. So all I have to do is make sure all computers that send documents out from our school have the Myriad Pro font installed and the relevant PDF setting set to make it work (like in Word, File, Save As, Save as file type PDF, Options, Bitmap text when fonts may not be embedded). In the resulting dialogue box, click the Tools drop-down menu (next to the Save button) > Select 'Save Options.' In the resulting 'PowerPoint Options' dialog box, check the 'Embed fonts in the file' box located at the bottom of the screen.
